Pre-treatment instructions
- No injectables (Botox, filler) two weeks prior to treatment
- No sunburn within the last two weeks
- No facial treatments (laser/IPL,, chemical peels, microdermabrasion etc 4 weeks prior to treatment)
- Avoid exfoliating and using anti-ageing products including Retinals or actives around the brow area 2- 3 days prior to treatment
- Avoid using self tanning products on the face 2-3 days prior to treatment
- If the area you would like treated has had a recent cosmetic tattoo procedure please wait to complete this treatment
Shiny Brows Procedure
- Microblading or Micro Feathering: Both techniques involve using a manual handheld tool with fine needles to create small, precise strokes that resemble natural eyebrow hairs. These strokes are applied in the direction of the natural hair growth to achieve a more realistic and textured look.
- Precision and Artistry: Skilled technicians or artists carefully design and craft each hairstroke to complement the client’s natural eyebrow shape, color, and density. The goal is to enhance or recreate the eyebrows in a way that appears as natural as possible.
- Customization: The hairstroke brow technique allows for a high level of customization. Technicians can adjust the thickness, length, and density of the strokes based on the client’s preferences and facial features.
- Pigment Selection: The pigment used in microblading or micro feathering is chosen to match the client’s natural eyebrow color. This contributes to the overall natural appearance of the results.
- Semi-Permanent Nature: It’s important to note that microblading and micro feathering are semi-permanent procedures. The pigments used are not as deeply implanted into the skin as traditional tattoos, and the results typically last for a year or more, depending on factors like skin type and aftercare.
Aftercare Instructions
Right after the treatment:
- The brows may have clear fluid for next 24 hours. This is normal. Just wipe it with clean cotton gently.
- Please avoid contact water first 24 hours on eyebrows.
- If you feel the skin on the treatment area is too dry: apply thin smear of Stratamed or Bepanthen 2 times a day for the next 7 days. Applying too much can make the pigment uneven.
In the first 7 days, please avoid:
- Exercises, sports or activities that make you sweat.
- Swimming.
- Facial massage.
- Sun tanning or salon tanning.
- Do not peel, rub or scratch the brows area in order not to scare or remove the pigment. Let any scab or dry skin fall off naturally/by itself.
Treatment Time: 2hrs
Retouch between 4-8 weeks after new tattoo.
